Frank graduated from Trenton High School in 1967 and enlisted in the Air Force in 1968. While stationed at McChord AFB, Frank met Lynn and they married on 12/6/69. On Easter day of 1970, Frank left for a 12 month tour of duty in Korea. Upon return, he was stationed at McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA. Frank had a honorable discharge after 8 years of service and remained in the AF reserves for several years. He was then hired by GSA at Bangor Naval Station, Keyport, WA. Frank joined the Boeing Co in 1979 and moved to Kent, WA and had a 37 year career retiring as a manager to live in Ravensdale, WA.
Frank enjoyed baseball and played first base for Little League, Trenton Trust and McChord AFB slow pitch. He was a lifelong NY Yankees fan. He loved to help others and volunteered as landscape maintenance for Vine Maple Place, Maple Valley, WA and as a Trustee for Maple Valley Church. He volunteered once a week at Tahoma National Cemetery and assisted coaches for his children’s various sports teams. Photography was a special interest of his, taking beautiful photos of the northwest outdoors, his Quilcene River cabin and his grandchildren’s sporting events. Frank loved his family. His children and grandchildren were everything to him. Frank also loved the Lord and His shining light came through in everything Frank did. Now Frank is at Peace, Peace at last. He will truly be missed by all who knew him and whose lives were touched by his loving care. R.I.P.
