Retired Longshoreman, served in the Army. One of his desires was to become a Mason and then a Shriner. This enabled him to help children in need. After an early retirement he started traveling. Many cruises and trips to anywhere he hadn't been. He just wanted to have "a look around," as he would say. Parker was an outdoorsman, hunting and playing golf gave him much pleasure; especially golf with Scott. Parker was a very social person and loved being around people. In later years he started playing lots of pool with all the guys at the Renton Senior Center. He will be missed and is loved by many.
Cry for me a little
Think of me sometimes
But not too much.
Think of me now and again
As I was in life
At some moments it's pleasant to recall
But not for long.
Leave me in peace
And I shall leave you in peace
And while you live
Let your thoughts be with the living.
