Audrey Marie Lee

On Friday, April 28th, 2023, Audrey Lee of Covington Wa, mother of five, passed away at her home, with her loving family at her side.

We will be honoring Audrey's memory with a funeral service at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel in Kent, Washington on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 am followed by a graveside committal at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent, Washington at 1:00 pm.

Audrey Marie Bruggeman was born Dec 16th 1927 in Plummer Mn, the daughter of Frank and Zoe Bruggeman, Audrey was the 4th of 7 children and grew up on a number of farms as the family moved around for a period of time. They finally settled on a farm S.E of Brooks Mn. She attended a number of country schools and graduated from Oklee High School in 1945. In 1947 she would meet and marry Rodney Jenson of Thief River Falls, Mn. To this union 5 children were born: Kathryn, Connie, Cory, Chris and Rodney. In 1956, Rod and Audrey moved to Los Angeles Ca, where they resided for seven years. Rodney was killed in an auto accident on March 23 1963, where after Audrey moved with the children to Kent Wa. In 1966 she would marry Al Lee. They were happily married until 1986, when Al died. Audrey was mostly a stay at home mom, although she worked at a number of part time jobs, such as the Big A in Los Angeles Ca and Anges Glass in Renton. She Loved hunting and fishing, along with camping and other hobbies. including painting scenic pictures of mountains and wilderness schemes. She was a Great Mother and Grandmother and opened her Heart and House to many relatives and friends.

Audrey is survived by her five children Kathryn (Leif) Garcia  Casa Grande Ari, Connie Jenson 

Covington Wa, Cory(Edna)Jenson Phoenix Ari, Chris (Karen) Jenson Thief River Falls Mn, and Rodney (Richan)Jenson Casa Grande Ari. One sister in law, Vi Bruggeman of Brooks Mn. Eleven grandchildren, Joe Griffin, Jim Griffin, Nick Schmid,  Laura Miller, Cory Jenson, Eric Jenson, Heather Jenson, Rebecca Stavenes, Stacy Thomsen, Ayla Thomsen, Dane Jenson and Jessica Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren, Alex Griffin, Nick Schmid, Morgan Schmid ,Kelsey White, Brandon Miller, Ava Jenson, Ethan Jenson, Erin Kiesow, Austin Stavenes, Brooke Stavenes, Colton Anderson, Mason Anderson and Hayden Anderson. 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Ezra Healy and Weston White.  She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her two Husbands, her Parents, all her Brothers and Sisters and all their spouse’s except for Vi Bruggeman.
