Camden Wetmore Obituary

Camden was born in Renton on May 14, 2020 to parents Alexis Monahan and Kirk Wetmore.  He was 9 lbs 19.5 inches long.  He became an angel on October 20, 2020 at just 5 months old.

Kirk and Alexis realized she was pregnant because of her crazy craving for Modelo beer!  What Alexis remembers about being pregnant with Camden is that the thought of eating meat sounded terrible (and she loves meat). Camden seemed to always have the hiccups and he loved to kick kick kick in her belly!

Camden arrived and he was the most precious thing they had ever seen.  As he grew, he developed the most infectious smile and giggle.  Every morning when his mom or dad got him from his crib, he would have the biggest grin on his face, and would get a little fussy if they took too long to get him once he woke up.  He absolutely loved bath time, kick kick kicking in the water, soaking his Mom and was so happy the whole time!  He loved to be tossed in the air and lifting his legs up in his crib – slamming them down so hard that Kirk and Alexis could hear it downstairs!  This kid was strong!  He had just started exploring with his touch: crinkling paper, scratched everything around him to see what noise it made, and touching his doggy Olive’s fur.  He had a knack of spitting up the second they got him in the car, so Mom would have to change his outfit…again.

We will miss his precious smile, his sweet giggles, and snuggling his face into our shoulder.  We will miss stopping in front of every mirror to show him his reflection and watch him smile.  We will miss the way he smelled after a bath and wrapping him in a towel and calling him Burrito Baby.  We will miss seeing him in his bunny bouncer after we got out of the shower.  We will miss replacing his paci a million times at night just for him to spit it out and then want it back.

We miss you Camden Jackson aka Bubba, Small Boy, Sir, Cjax, Camden Little Jackson.

We know we speak for everyone when we say - we would give anything to see his sweet smile or hear his cute little giggle again. We know in our hearts he would be a 'Lefty' like his dad and be a caring and charismatic person like his mom.

It gives us peace to know the donation of his heart valves will save several babies that share his rare blood type.
