Connie Jean Brown, 72, of Yelm, Washington, passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2021.
Connie was born September 4, 1948, in Benkelman, Nebraska to Roy and Augusta Todd (deceased). Her parents moved their children, Lita Farnsworth (deceased), Robert Todd (deceased), Bruce Todd (living), and Connie from Nebraska to Stryker, Montana in the 1950’s where she spent her childhood before relocating to Washington.
Connie was actively involved with the Fraternity Order of Eagles where she held a variety of positions including Chaplin and President. She also participated in many volunteer projects as a chairman. One of her most treasured experiences was with the organization, Pope’s Place a non-profit health and social service which focues on children with special needs helps.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, George T. (Bud) Brown, her six children, Matthew (and Shelley) Ellermann of Polson, Montana, Wendy (and Joel) Younce of Yelm, Washington, Todd (and Anna) of Orting, Washington, Jason Brown of Texas, Shawna (and Derek) Bowers of Roy, Washington, and Sabrina (and Jim) Wise of Graham, Washington. She had 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The most recognizable quote from Connie was “Love you the Mostest”. And know, she meant it.
The viewing will be held at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 10, from 4-8pm. 27221 156th Ave SE. Kent, Washington 98042. Her service will be held at Puyallup Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Saturday, September 11, at 3pm. 902 Shaw Rd. E. Puyallup, Washington 98372. The family will have a celebration of life immediately following the service in the church gymnasium.
