In Loving Memory

Gloria Pilar Regal, age 102 years old passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, on November 23rd, 2022 at her home in Pacific, Washington.

Gloria was born September 21, 1920 in Legaspi Albay Philippines to Pedro and Nemesia Nacion. She came to the United States in April 1960 with her five children to join her husband in Anchorage, Alaska. They had three more children in Alaska before moving to Pacific, Washington in 1976.

Gloria was married 69 years to Domingo Regal who proceeded her in death on December 2009, along with her daughter Lori who passed in 2019.

She is survived by 8 children, 22 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, and counting.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, she had a passion for gardening, cooking, traveling, and doing her Word Search puzzles to keep her mind alert.

Gloria worked at Fort Richardson Army Base in Alaska for 12 years. When she moved to Washington, Gloria worked for The Boeing Company for 10 years.

During her life in the U.S. she never forgot her filipino heritage. She was very involved with the filipino community clubs in Alaska and Washington.

Her happiest time was the yearly family reunion celebration in her spacious yard.
Her highpoint was watching the younger ones playing, reconnecting with each other, and eating.

Gloria left a legacy of love and caring for her family. She has touched so many people in her 102 years of life. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and generous kind lady.
