Gregory M. Frelinger

Greg, age 73, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Capital Memorial Hospital in Olympia, Washington. He was born June 7, 1948, in Longview, Washington, to Charles Gregory Frelinger and Dorothea Lucille (Rogers) Goodrow. Greg, also known as “Toader” to his friends and family, devoted all his life to his family and being a loving husband and father. He was happily married for thirty-eight years. He was always present in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he made amazing knives that are cherished gifts to those who were lucky enough to receive them. His door was always open to all who graced his home. Greg had a remarkable smile, was friendly to everyone he met, and was always there to listen. He didn’t know a stranger. Greg requested to be cremated and is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Frelinger; loving daughters, Suny Clear, Sandy Mattingly, Windy Epps, and Lori Ann Bisson; brother, Norman Frelinger; sisters Dorothea Gallardo, Patricia Crelencia, and Teresa Medina; six grandchildren; and three great children.
The funeral service will be held at Edline-Yah & Covington Funeral Chapel at 27221 156th Avenue S.E., Kent, WA  98042, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
