James Roscoe Pepperdine Jr.

James R. Pepperdine Jr. “Pep”, 61, passed away on December 14, 2020 comfortably at his residence in Ravensdale, WA. He was born June 4, 1959, in Mattoon, IL, the son of James Roscoe Sr. and Juanita Harriet “Colson” Pepperdine. He met his childhood sweetheart Joyce Lynn Perry at age 13 who he married at age 17 and settled in Ravensdale, WA. They celebrated 44 years of marriage on September 11, 2020. In addition to his parents, he has a brother Mike Pepperdine, two sisters Torrie Culp and Lorrie Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lynn Pepperdine, his son, Jimmy Roscoe Pepperdine III, and wife Brandi Pepperdine; daughter Lisa Marie Rodriguez and her husband, JaMal Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Jasmine Yvonne Lynn, Desirae Lynn, and Jayden James. He was a highly active young man growing up who loved skate boarding, surfing, fishing, playing and coaching baseball.  He loved the ocean and dolphins.  A hardcore Miami Dolphins fan.  A super hard worker and provider for his family. He liked joking around and pulling pranks on his friends and family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will truly be missed by all his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
