Jordan Marie Bishop lived her life by a simple creed. “Live each day like it’s your last for tomorrow is not guaranteed. Love, laugh and just be happy.” Born on December 10th 1991 to Bob and Denise Hoglund, Jordan grew up with a kind heart full of energy and spirit. A gifted storyteller with a sharp eye for detail, her extraordinary passion for life gave her a presence that commanded attention, be it swimming as captain of the Tahoma High School swimming team or spending time hanging out with her friends, her positive charm could not be ignored. Jordan enjoyed spending time traveling, loved animals, dogs especially, and casinos, where against the odds she always seemed to hit a jackpot. And in the quieter moments you would finder her devouring every book she could find. Yet, none of this could compare to her unfathomable love for her family.
For Jordan, family was everything. In May 2017 Jordan married the man of her dreams Andrew Bishop in a wedding fit for a princess. Andrew held her in his heart as a queen, for her two precious sons Colton (7) and Christian (2), who were the lights of her life. She enjoyed sneaking away with her family for a day at the beach. In recent months, she and Colton would go on a date night periodically – something they both loved and something that Colton sorely misses. Christian liked nothing more than doing something that would result in Jordan chasing him and Christian laughing. When the entire family would gather, Jordan did everything she could to get the cell phones put away and engage everyone in a day of fun.
On March 14th 2021 Jordan departed this life to join her fellow angels in Heaven carried on wings full of glitz, glamour, sparkle and shine. She is survived by her husband Andrew Bishop; sons Colton and Christian; parents Bob and Denise Hoglund; brother Erik Hoglund; grandparents Karen and David Hall and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Jordan, I hope you know just how much you were loved and will be extremely missed. You will always be in our hearts and forever on our minds.
Please pray for her husband Andrew, her boys, Colton & Christian and her parents Bob & Denise as they guide their way forward without her.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday May 22 at Shepherd of the Valley Church in Maple Valley.
