Patricia Marlene (Harp) Carlson passed peacefully from this life into the presence of her Lord on November 4, 2022. 

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 23810 112th Ave SE, Kent, WA.  

Patricia was born to Anna & William Harp just outside Wibaux, Montana on January 13, 1937. She was the sixth, of seven children. On July 2, 1939, Patricia was baptized at United Lutheran Church in Beach, ND. She was confirmed on June 5, 1949, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wibaux, Montana, the church where she would get her start as a Church organist.

After attending a country one-room schoolhouse for her first years, Patricia attended the schools in Wibaux, Montana, and graduated from Wibaux High School in 1954. After high school, she attended Concordia College until moving, along with most of her family, to the Pacific Northwest, where she began work as a bank teller at Rainier National Bank in Seattle.

Patricia married Lowell Jackson Carlson on December 24, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Enumclaw. Pat and Lowell settled in Kent, WA, where they raised their four daughters, sharing 56 years together. Having worked in banking & retail, she was most passionate about her work as a Church Organist and pianist. She was the head organist at Kent Lutheran Church, then Lutheran Church of the Cross until her retirement.   

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell, brothers, Bill, Joshua, Bob, Pat, and sister Betty.  She is survived by her daughters Anna (Paul) Stewart, Tricia Carlson, Debbie (Brandon) Godfrey, and Jenny (Sean) Bolin, brother, Wayne, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
