Richard Dobrowski, 91, of Kent died Nov. 1, 2019, in Renton, WA. He was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Wibaux, MT to John and Frances Dobrowski.
He served in the army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. Upon his return, Richard sought out greener pastures and tried his hand at farming. He then attended the University of Montana under the G.I. Bill where he earned a bachelor’s degree. Recruited by Boeing, Richard moved to Washington state and had a long career as an accountant in the aerospace industry with Boeing.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, David. Bereft survivors include his loving children, Dennis (Ginny) Dobrowski of Elk, Beverly (Lee) Miller of Maple Valley, Robert (Sherry) Dobrowski of Maple Valley, Grandchildren Christina Dobrowski of Spokane, Elizabeth (Justin) Vesci of Los Angeles, and Evan (Kristen) Dobrowski of Auburn. And his adorable year-old great granddaughter James Vesci.
A viewing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at St. Stephen the Martyr in Renton, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. followed by burial st Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent.
