Richard Nibarger, JR age 84, passed away October 14, 2020 in Enumclaw. He was born August 24, 1936 in Nampa, Idaho to the late Richard SR and Pearl White Nibarger. Richard served honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a police officer for the Renton, WA Police Department for over 25 years retiring in the early 1990’s. After his retirement he and his wife moved to Cle Elm where they were hay farmers for ten years. Richard and Sandra also were very active in Sun City West, Arizona where they enjoyed spending time with fellow retired police officers. Survivors include his beloved wife Sandra of Enumclaw; children Tom (TR) and wife Nancy Nibarger of Ravensdale, Tina Nibarger of Enumclaw, Todd and his wife Beth Nibarger of Bonney Lake; sister Judy Vanderford and her husband Ted of Hermiston, Oregon; grandchildren Zach, Meaghan, Jason, Adrianne, Alicia, Isabella; great-grandchildren Taylen, Mason, Scout; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ilene. Services will be held at a later date. Remembrances to the Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
