SFC Steven Louis Miller passed away unexpectedly on March 1st, 2023. He was only 41 years old. The family is shocked and devasted by his death. Steve was born on February 7, 1982, to Beth and David Miller on Fairchild Airforce base in Washington. Steve referred to himself as an Airforce brat, moving all over the country from Colorado to Oklahoma and even a year in England. Steve graduated from Altus High School in 2000 and shortly moved to Indiana as his son Blake was born. After Blake, he had a daughter named Jenna. He was so proud of his children.
In 2007, Steve joined the Army and was stationed in WA. There he met the love of his life, Megan and the two were married in 2011. Steve remained in Active Duty for the rest of his life. Proudly serving his country for 16 years as a Powertrain Mechanic and later a Counterintelligence Special Agent. He was a member of the 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment for the entirety of his Army career and was so proud to be a Night Stalker baby.
Steve was the kindest soul. You could always find him with a smile on his face and helping hand. He loved the Steelers, Disc Golf, Podcasts, dancing, and his three little wiener dogs. He loved love. The world is a sadder place without him in it, but we know we will see him again.
Steve is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Edward and Addie Canty and Richard and Nell Miller, as well as his stepmother, Bonnie. He is survived by his wife, Megan, Children, Blake and Jenna, sister, Devon, brothers, Luke and Ian and his parents Beth and Tim Earle and David Miller.
